Roland Elm\u00e4ng came up with the idea of \u200b\u200bproducing better fuel for chain saws when he read an article in the Swedish newspaper Skogen about the consequences suffered by forest workers by exposure to exhaust gases from chainsaws and forest mowers. The introduction of alkylate gasoline resulted in a dramatically improved working environment for Swedish forest workers.
